Let me post again what I commented in the past but with some chganes since this is the rare time in which the complete members of the Jolie-Pitt family were spotted out & were taken lots of pics.Looking at those pics of AJBP family strolling and grocery shopping in New Orleans gives me a very good feeling, knowing that despite their high profile status, they’re able to live a normal family life just like average people do, just like what the New Orleans families also are doing, as seen in the videos. They seem to enjoy what they are doing. The glow and big smile on their faces just show they really love doings things together as a couple and as family. I mean, there’s not a trace of fakery. They are just who they are who love to be away from the limelight once in a while and savor every moment of togetherness whether privately or publicly. They are normal couple whose jobs are in acting profession. After doing their celebrity duties in promoting & shooting their films, they easily go back to their ‘normal’ life. Of course, no matter how much they try to live as normal as possible, they really cannot help but easily attract people due to their “beyond normal” gorgeousness and they should not be blamed for it. It is what it is, so the public should learn how to deal with it as AJBP do not seem to make a great deal of it. In other words, normal people who are not blessed with so much physical attributes should just learn to co-exist with genetically-blessed people and let them live like ordinary folks, doing ordinary activities or errands.Just let them be. It is NOT their fault if the public is so fascinated by them. I think AJBP are already used to the public interest about them. Even if how much they wish in their hearts that the paparazzi will just leave them, they probably think this is part of the territory, of their being very popular & well-loved personalities. They actually do act as ordinary as possible but the problem is it’s the public who don’t. And just because the public cannot seem to get enough of them, we will now deprive them of their right to enjoy their family whenever, wherever they want to?! I think that’s UNFAIR. They are human too, you know.

that financial suseccs doesn’t necessarily correlate with the artistic quality of a film – look @ Angelina’s lifetime grosses for A Mighty Heart, Changeling, etc. vs. her action movies. Look @ most summer blockbusters vs. movies with substance (with some exceptions, IMO, like the Lord of the Rings trilogy & Harry Potter series). That said, the powers that greenlight movies look @ the bottom line first = financial suseccs. And I love me my popcorn movies, too.My SHORT ANSWER is that “suseccs” is defined by looking at the opening weekend only (not comparing one opening weekend with another opening weekend); by the movie’s actual performance against expectations/predictions; and using the same #s/statistics, different analysts will give it different spins often coming up with opposite conclusions ( esp., if they have a bias for/against the star). SALT made $36+ million on its opening weekend & was #2 – remember how people crowed it was a ‘flop’ and Angelina couldn’t carry a movie on her own? The Other Guys made $35+ million & was #1 on its opening weekend. If SALT had opened when Other Guys did, instead of the weekend after Inception opened (kind of like opening the weekend after Avatar opened), could Angie have been #1 – more likely, or at the very least much closer in earnings. And let’s not forget that (truly great & in-depth) Inception fanboys & Angelina h8ters had been drumming up an unnecessary gunfight between the 2 movies. That wasn’t done with Expendables & EPL.LONG ANSWER: Cost of production is part of the story, but the biggest thing is because suseccs is defined in biggest part by (1) it’s opening weekend gross; then (2) it’s total lifetime grosses (and some people distinguish U.S. vs. foreign, so if it makes less U.S. than foreign & they just go by U.S., they can say something’s a flop’ when by its worldwide gross it’s a HUGE suseccs).The theatrical opening formula doesn’t take into account the $$$ earned from videos, and therefore a movie’s longterm financial suseccs because some movies that do well in theaters don’t make anything after that while others (cult, action, comedy, sci-fi, indie, etc.) make hundreds of millions more or at least do better than the theatrical runs. Also, it might be fairer to compare movies of the same genre, e.g. indies with other indies instead of indies vs. blockbusters.OPENING WEEKENDS: Expectations & predictions vs. actual grosses if a movie underperforms takes in less than was expected, e.g. Scott Pilgrim & Step-Up 3D, they’ll be considered flops. Or take Michael Jackson’s This Is It, there were such outrageous predictions, that it was considered by some a flop’ on it’s opening weekend @ $23,234,394 because it made less than either of the 2 Hannah Montana movies’ opening weekends – EVEN THOUGH IT WAS NO. 1. It went on to have total world lifetime grosses of $261,183,588 – the highest earning music/concert documentary ever (not counting dvds/Blu-rays). Hannah 2 tapped out @$79.5, Hannah 1 $65.2 million.
